We invite you to participate in the 19th International Conference "AIDS, Cancer and Public Health" which will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the period of May 24 – 26, 2010.

HIV infection spreads worldwide including Russia where its trends are alarming in spite of the efforts numerous concerned scientists and clinicians. Growing number of AIDS, cancer and some other socially dangerous diseases like tuberculosis are presenting humanity with an extraordinary challenge. The goals that lie in front of the public health of developed and developing countries are to strengthen their efforts in struggle against mentioned infections and pathologies.

This Conference will focus on appropriate prevention measures in order to reduce the spread of the HIV epidemic, also on advances in rapidly evolving areas of research, prevention, early diagnostics and treatment of above-mentioned diseases. Through plenary lectures, seminars and research sessions the Conference will present recent data that seem to have not only theoretical but also practical impact for the present time or the nearest future.

Your participation in exchange of ideas and experiences will help to make an important step in solving these problems in Russia and worldwide.

Exhibition:

Commercial exhibition and symposiums will be organized. Space for commercial advertising is available in Russian Journal of HIV/AIDS and Related Problems. Contact organizing committee for additional information.

Abstracts:

Abstracts should be in English and fit within 11.5*16.5 cm frame. Use single spaced text. Type title in capital letters and center it. Initials must precede last name. Underline the name of the author presenting the paper. The abstracts could be sent by E-mail or via Registration form. The format ASCII, MS Word for DOS/Win or Word Perfect is recommended.

Registration Fee:

-Payment received before April 15, US$ 500;
-Payment received after April 15, US$ 600;
-Accompanying person, US$ 1000

Deadlines:

Deadline for abstracts, registration and other payments: April 15, 2009

Accommodation:

Participants will be accommodated at the hotel “Oktiabrskaja” 10, Ligovsky Ave., tel. (812)717-63-30, fax (812)578-12-30 Hotel reservation form should be sent to the Organizing Committee not later than April 15.

Please, attach to your registration form a copy of your registration fee transfer.
No checks or cards are accepted.

Visa support:

Tourist visa support will be provided as soon as we have received the hotel reservation form as well as a photocopy of your passport (which must be valid for at least six months or more at the time of entry). You will receive all necessary papers which you will need in order to obtain your visa at the Russian Embassy or Consulate (may differ per country). Business visa support can be provided to those participants who are not allowed by their organization to attend conferences using tourist visas. Request for business visa support should be submitted to the Organizing Committee not later than April 1.
